Corrections Policy

How we handle mistakes and keep pages accurate.

We work hard to be accurate, but insurance information changes and mistakes can happen. When they do, we want to fix them quickly and transparently.

Report an error

If you spot something inaccurate or out of date, please tell us via our contact page. Include the page, what you believe is wrong, and a source if you have one.

How we review corrections

  1. We check the claim against reliable sources and, where relevant, the insurer's own policy documents.
  2. If a correction is needed, our editorial team makes it and a reviewer confirms it.
  3. We update the page's "last reviewed" date so you can see it has been refreshed.

Significant corrections

For material changes to facts, figures or advice-adjacent content, we correct the page promptly. We may add a brief note where transparency calls for it.

Keeping content current

Beyond individual corrections, we review our core guides periodically and after notable changes in the market or regulation. This policy sits alongside our publishing principles and editorial guidelines.
